Or rather, read my voice! I started, as a young girl, writing fiction in my hoard of journals and early versions of Microsoft Word. Then, when essays took over during my high school and college years, my voice and writing style took on a more technical tone. In college, however, I also found myself in a few creative writing classes - to finish off my writing minor - and to gain back my descriptive voice. Since then, I’ve delved into poetry, nonfiction, and fiction to strengthen what voice I had and regain what creativity I had lost over the years.

These experimental pieces can be found on my Vocal Media profile. Many of these stories are nonfiction, talking about different points in my life and situations that changed me - for better or worse. Other pieces are more fictional as I write for challenges within the Vocal community or to purge a novel idea sitting in my head for the last decade. Please, take these pieces for what they are. If anything, I hope they provide an idea to my writing style and written voice.
